Confindustria Albania conference “Energy and Italian investments in Albania”, part of the public assembly chaired by Sergio Fontana, took place in Tirana on May 20th 2022.
The event, dealing with a highly topical issue such as the global energy crisis, was directed and moderated by Mario Tonucci, Managing Partner of Tonucci & Partners and vice president of Confindustria Albania. In addition to the greeting video message from the President of Confindustria Italia Carlo Bonomi, the meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of Italy in Tirana, Fabrizio Bucci, by the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, by Infrastructure and Energy Deputy Minister, Ilir Bejtja , as well as by Albanian Parliament deputies and some of the major players in the economic and entrepreneurial scenario of the two countries. The event brought forth a comparison of ideas and concrete proposals regarding the sustainable development of the energy sector in Albania and, in particular, the production of energy from renewable sources in order to provide the country’s autonomy from foreign sources of energy. The Albanian authorities participating at the meeting confirmed the Albanian Government’s full support to Italian companies and enterprises interested in investing in the energy sector in Albania.
During the event, Confindustria Albania presented the Albania 2022 Business Guide, this year published in collaboration with Tonucci & Partners. The Guide, always edited by Tonucci & Partners, due to the local partners commitment, including Ervin Bano, represents a very useful tool to all companies and entrepreneurs investing in Albania.
