PNNR and gender equality Amendments to the equal opportunities code.

PNRR points out emphasis to its fifth Mission “Inclusion and Cohesion” in order to correct the often endemic gender inequality in work environment. The amendments to the equal opportunities code, with the introduction of new art. 46 and 46 bis of Legislative Decree 198/2006, will effect the Italian companies and public and private employers who employ more than 50 employees.

As Cristina Mazzamauro, partner of Tonucci & Partners, explains: the main implementation measures concern the obligation to submit the biennial report regarding male and female staff that companies have in charge and the establishment of gender equality certification due for companies.
