No Russia Clause Intellectual Property

The European Union has urged massive and uncommon sanctions against Russia in response to its war regarding the aggression against Ukraine which began on February 24th  2022 and the illegal takeover of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson .

In particular, as per 14th lot of sanctions, the EU prohibits to Russian persons and entities the registration of EU trademarks and patents, imposing the “No Russia Clause” also for licenses sale of IP concerning ” high priority ordinary products”
