“Industrial Designs: simpler registrations and adjustment of complex products”.

The article summarises the elements that characterise the two proposals forwarded to revise the Regulation and the Directive governing the matter, including the simplification and streamlining of procedures for registering an industrial design in EU, the harmonisation of procedures and the undertaking of complementarity between EU and Member State Legislation, related to the protection of industrial designs and models and the possibility of reproducing original designs and models for product adjustment.
