Gianluca Bocchino of Tonucci & Partners, interviewed by Andrea Pancani at La7 television program Coffee Break on Friday, July 12^th 2024, analyzed the legal aspects of a highly topical issue, that of the expiry of beach concessions.

To add further elements to the ongoing debate, European Union Court of Justice ruled on July 11^th 2024 that, upon expiry of a seaside license, the facilities should be returned to the State, thus establishing not restrictive of freedom the Italian law which provides that the non-removable works built on the beaches are acquired free of charge by the Italian State at the expiry of a concession.
