The conference regarding “Energy Communities and Self-production” will take place at KMETROVERDE headquarters in Foggia on Thursday, September 21st 2023, at 9.30 am. The national important event on energy is promoted by Sistemi Energetici SpA and Tonucci & Partners, represented by the Gianluca Bocchino and Stefano Lucarini, Head of Energy Department. The conference will also be attended by Raffaele Piemontese,Puglia Region Vice President; Paolo Arrigoni, President of Energy Services Manager (GSE) and Lorenzo Lo Muzio, Foggia University Rector. “Italy is among the first European nations to have implemented the provisions of RED II Directive – stated Stefano Lucarini – enabling several collective self-consumption frames such as CERs, encouraging thus an energy transition participated by private citizens, SMEs and local authorities and a progressive change of the electricity system paradigm. It is essential – he concludes – to avoid this advantage nullification because of administrative delays, also considering the great enthusiasm already perceived by the market and by both public and private operators”.
