The development of female business is strongly hindered by banking gender gap. Bank financing of companies made up of women – according to a recent Unioncamere report – represent only 11% compared to a high application to own or family capital (49%). And if the banks do not grant loans, the mistrust climate once again affects female business more, 8% compared to 4% of male one. According to a recent resolution of the Court of Auditors regarding the distribution of resources for call of proposals included in the PNNR “Foundation of women’s businesses” financed with 400 million euros, lack of participation of women entrepreneurs from South confirms the requirement for concrete help to women who want to do business.
