Tonucci & Partners Rome office hosted on July 3rd, 2026, a meeting purposed to discuss the development outlook of innovation financing in Europe. The discussion featured Philippe Tibi, economist and founder of the well-known Tibi Initiative, a benchmark model that supports the growth of innovative startups and scale-ups.
The meeting, promoted by the Regional Economic Service of the French Embassy, was attended by Hélène Thibault of Tonucci & Partners, Vice President of La French Tech Italy, and Federica Mercanti, representative of French Embassy Economic Service in Italy and member of La French Tech Italy, and provided an important opportunity for discussing the future of innovation ecosystems in Europe.
During the meeting, Thibault outlined the characteristics of the Italian startup and scale-up ecosystem, highlighting its unique characteristics compared to the French model and exploring the main financing tools available for innovative companies. The discussion also focused on the prospects regarding a potential European-wide development of Tibi Initiative, which has already called into action over €15 billion in private investment related to innovation.
