Mario Tonucci, founder and senior partner of our firm, spoke during the Solemn Ceremony of Rome Bar Association regarding the awards conferred to members of 50, 60 and 70 years of professional practice. In his speech, Mario Tonucci intensively considered and analyzed over the profound meaning of being a lawyer today, recalling the necessity to rediscover and enhance professional ethics as an essential foundation of legal activity, highlighting the importance of the lawyer’s role as reference point for the citizens, capable of matching technical expertise and human sensibility. Furthermore, Mr. Tonucci pointed out the growing complexity of the legislation and the challenge concerning the increasingly variable jurisprudential interpretation, recalling the importance of ongoing training that maintains the strong connection between knowledge of law and people’s comprehension. Lastly, he evoked that being part of the Order and of the legal community represents a precious resource for addressing the transformations underway with awareness and responsibility.
