The European Union adopted the 15th sanctions lot against Russia on December 16^th, 2024 in order to maintain pressure on Russian “hidden navy” and prevent sanctions evasion. The lot adds 52 ships to the restricted vessels list, mounting the total number to 79. Moreover, for the first time since the Russian invasion began, EU has imposed “overall” sanctions on seven Chinese entities.
