Business and Made in Italy Ministry is starting to implement Law 206/2023related to Made in Italy. In particular, a few days ago, the Official Journal published the decree concerning the protection of 50 years old brands of particular national interest, in order to prevent their extinction.
Fabio Boscariol of Tonucci & Partners stated in ItaliaOggi that the legislative intervention “is undoubtedly a non-decisive tool but it helps Italian companies to promote and protect their products”, pointing out how “the usage of the provided tools can drive the support to the development and modernization of production processes, useful to the growth of Made in Italy qualitative excellence”.
Regarding the Law Act, in his contribution to italiaOggi, the lawyer highlighted that “considering the implementing decrees that the vast majority of law provisions require, we are currently assisting several clients in the customs field, with reference to requests regarding operations called AFA, meant for customs hindering procedures related to suspected counterfeit goods”.
