Tonucci & Partners is pleased to support the workshop “U-SPACE: the Enabler of UAS operations”, organized by STRADAai in collaboration with Roma Tre University Department of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Aeronautical Technologies, which will take place at Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome on Tuesday October 1st 2024, from 9.15am to 6.00pm.
Today’s expansion of UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) activities across all industrial sectors has led Europe to think back and ponder upon airspace organization. Drones flight characteristics require a radical upgrade of traditional air traffic management (ATM) in order to ensure safe and efficient UAS operations.
U-Space represents the airspace in which the operations of manned and unmanned aircraft are harmonized by an assigned regulatory framework and with the support of specific services.
This event aims at introducing U-Space framework to stakeholders and, in general, to all potential vast number of UAS users in their daily activities.
