The approval of the new “Procurement Code” is expected on April 1st 2023. It contains several legislative changes that aim at promoting gender and generational inclusion as well as employment inclusion of people with disabilities, in the context of public contracts triggered by National Recovery and Resilience Plan implementation. The related amendments concern review of evaluation criteria regarding the access to calls for tenders, either necessary or reward requirements, recruitment quotas, derogation criteria by the contracting authorities and incentives concerning quality certification.
