The round table “Keep Business Moving – New Relations between Italy and UK” organized by Tonucci & Partners, together with UK Embassy and British Chamber of Commerce for Italy (BCCI), took place last October 6th in the beautiful setting of “Ala Novecento” located inside Tonucci & Partners Rome headquarters.
The meeting was attended, as speakers, by Jill Morris, HM Ambassador to Italy and San Marino, by Tom Noad, President of the British Chamber of Commerce, and by a selected group of both Italian and British companies. The guests, welcomed by Managing Partner Mario Tonucci and Partners Daria Capotorto and Giuseppe Mongiello, who moderated the discussion, had the opportunity to interact with HM Ambassador on different issues currently crucial to companies interested in UK and Commonwealth countries. The discussion was, therefore, focused on free trade agreements, digitalization, relations between UK and European Union in the light of new agreements under discussion, and on questions related to UK transition process aiming to “keep business moving”.
