By speaking in two key panels: “Women Empowerment in Gaming: leadership, skills, and industry future” and “Startups and regulation: innovating in a highly compliance market”, Hélène Thibault of Tonucci & Partners – member of the Italian Gaming Awards jury – attended the third edition of the Italian Gaming Expo & Conference (IGE), the leading Italian event regarding gaming sector, which took place on Wednesday, April 15th 2026.
In the first panel, she shared her points of view related to the female leadership role, highlighting the importance of skills, responsibility and flexibility in a sector still characterized by limited female participation especially in gaming industry, tech and startups.
In the second panel, Hélène Thibault explored the increasingly and ongoing close connection between innovation and compliance, pointing out how, integrating compliance processes into corporate strategies, represents nowadays an enabling element for growth, risk management and sustainable development, regarding even ESG criteria and intellectual property protection.
