Tonucci & Partners, with partner Alberto Fantini and the associate Giuseppe De Gregorio, successfully assisted before Umbria TAR, Perugia the Umbrian Authority for Waste and Water (AURI), a technical regulatory entity at regional level, with regard to both integrated water services and integrated waste management services .
By sentence no. 141/2024, admitting AURI’s defense arguments, TAR declared unacceptable the appeal brought forth by the service managers against the administrative measures adopted by AURI concerning the purposes of determining the service rates.
This ruling extends to the issue regarding waste rates all what is already provided in terms of water services regulation, stating that the rates indicated by AURI are valid on a provisional basis even without approval from Arera sector authority, until the latter provides new rates indications.
