Interviewed by Calcio e Finanza on the issue concerning the right to a discount on the sponsorship amount, Gianluca Cambareri of Tonucci & Partners explains how, given the reduced visibility due to the interruption of the season, playing fewer matches compared to the number envisaged in the sponsorship agreements, could constitute a supposition of excessive onerous pursuant to art. 1467 of the Italian Civil Code, legitimizing the Sponsor to request the termination of the agreement or a hypothesis mutual contractual services riformulated in order to restore the contractual conditions to fairness.
