RoundOne, opportunity for the Italian Esports.
Hélène Thibault, Counsel of Tonucci & Partners, attended the legal panel regarding regulation of esports at the International B2B RoundOne which dealed with sports and took place on October 6th 2021. The panel also was attended by Simona Lavagnini ( LGV Avvocati), Marco Imperiale (LCA studio legale) and was moderated by Alessio Crisantemi (esportsmag.it). The event, organized by IIDEA, the most representative videogame industry association in Italy including primary Italian and European players of esports sector, focused on relevant legal topics pertaining to esports industry in Italy, such as intellectual property, sports regulation applicability and contracts with pro-players.
