WEBINAR – The Webinar regarding “Registration of beneficial owners” took place on Wednesday, March 24th at 11 am. It was a free of charge technical virtual meeting addressed to Confindustria Albania member companies, due to the collaboration with Tonucci & Partners and National Business Registration Center in Albania (QKB). The attendance with a greeting of the Albanian Government representative, Mr. Eduard Shalsi, Minister for Protection of Entrepreneurship, was of particular interest. The webinar aimed at letting directors / owners and / or shareholders of companies have the opportunity to learn more about law n.112 / 2020 “On the Register of Beneficial Owners”, approved on July 29th 2020 by the Albanian Parliament. The main issues of the program, among others, were: methods and procedures with regard to registering and publishing data relating to beneficial owners, deadlines, categories of taxpayers affected by these changes, particularities and characteristics of the regulation.
