As part of the “Privacy in the digital age” seminar organized by ELSA International and ELSA Turin on the occasion of ELSA celebration Day, the session “Cyber-security and data processing policies in multinational companies” took place on November 19th, 2021 with the partecipation, as speakers, of Alessandro Del Ninno of Tonucci & Partners and Elisa Liberale, Head Legal of Microsoft Italy. Alessandro Del Ninno discussed a lecture entitled “Risk management: a comparative perspective between GDPR and EU proposal concerning a Regulation on Artificial Intelligence”. The contribution focused on the different approach to the risk that the European legislator introduced in the regulatory structure of the GDPR and that of the proposal for a General Regulation regarding Artificial Intelligence and highlighted points of divergence and convergence between the two legal frameworks.
