WEBINAR – The second free WEBINAR regarding “LIFE SCIENCES FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE” took place on April 20th, at 5.00 pm. During the WEBINAR we discussed the implementation of new discoveries developed by Bios Hydrogel srl to combat soil depletion and help the agricultural needs by using only biodegradable and recyclable products. We talked about how the idea of Mr. Giacomo Guerrini, its founder, took ground from the beginning by the initial collaboration with the Department of Chemical Sciences – University of Padua and the initiation of the spin-off and start-up. Ettore Salce and Carlo Scarpa of Tonucci & Partners talked about the IP protection and contracts of a new company. Mr. Matteo Piras told us about his experiences regarding the opportunities of using equity crowdfunding and/or equity to support innovative start-ups, from his privileged point of view as founder and CEO of STARSUP, first digital platform authorized for this purpose by Consob (Securities and Investments Board) in Italy.
The meeting was moderated by Professor Paolo Gubitta, Deputy Director of the Department of Economics and Business – University of Padua.
