Alessandro Vasta of Tonucci & Partners attended a panel also composed by Hielke Hijmans, member of the Executive Board of the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Prof. Jacques Folon and moderated by Jared Browne, Chair of the AI & Data working group of CEDPO.

The topic of analysis was the evolution of the DPO’s role in a society where new technologies are nowadays an essential element of all digital products and services and the protection of EU fundamental rights, including the right to protection of personal data, is of paramount importance.
