Quirino Mancini, Partner at Tonucci & Partners, attended the “Betting on Sports Europe” conference taken place in London on 11th and 12th of November as a moderator of the panel “Italy 2022 – Considering the market stability” which focused on the possible “revolution” the local gaming industry is poised to undergo once the new licence tender is called and the long-awaited and repeatedly announced sector reform is finally launched. Mr. Mancini also featured two other panel sessions at the same conference dealing respectively with 1) how the gaming industry is coping with and drastically revisiting and re-shaping their marketing strategy in the wake of the ever more stringent advertising restrictions being imposed across all the regulated European markets, and 2) addressing the current state of art of the very slow harmonisation/convergence of gambling legislation in the European Union macro-markets.
