Gianluca Bocchino of Tonucci & Partners attended as a guest “Mediterranea. The blue civilization” second meeting dedicated to in-depth analysis of beach concessions issue. In particular, the attendees discussed the extension of beach concessions which the European Commission took up by initiating the infringement procedure regarding the failure to transpose Bolkestein Directive. The Court of Cassation, as well, opposed by Cass ruling. no. 23/11/2023, n. 32559, the decision with which State Council had previously established the illegitimacy of any extension beyond December 31^st 2023 of maritime state concessions for tourist-recreational purposes.
