The conference “Legal knowledge unity and plurality under constitutional reform perspectives”, set up by Tonucci & Partners, Consenso Europa and Dike Giuridica Editrice, with the support of Rome Bar Association and Rome Criminal Chamber, took place on January 29th and was attended, among others, by Gaetano Scalise, President of Rome Criminal Chamber and Paolo Nesta, President of Rome Bar Association Council. In his speech, Gaetano Scalise pointed out the importance of the Constitutional Court role and that of the constitutionally oriented approach to justice, both civil and criminal, underlining its crucial rolee in light of the great social changes, especially with reference to prison structuring. Paolo Nesta, instead, highlighted the targets of the recently effective Cartabia Reform from a criminal and civil justice perspective, noting however some structural limitations that represent a potential obstacle to their achievement, including lack of staff. Giorgio Altieri and Gianluca Bocchino of Tonucci & Partners, who organized and moderated the conference, recalled the meeting worth in terms of comparison between academic and legal profession by hosting distinguished speakers in order to provide a technical contribution in a proactive manner related to the issues discussed during the debate with regard to the constitutional revision process and justice.
