Courtroom sentences will be affected and influenced in the future, even in Italy, by new technologies; “predictive sentences” as called, are based on principles extracted from previous cases. On one hand, AI guarantees advantages in terms of efficiency of legal services, on the other, however, it entails risks of privacy and intellectual property violation and of mislead in the correct attribution of responsibilities.
